psycho.

Sorry about the lack of updating. I would say I've been extremely busy, but that's not true. I have sometimes, but mostly I'm just lazy or have nothing to talk about.

Anyway, school is going to be paid for today once I get up to the school. $733 was saved in about 3 weeks. Very happy, very relieved.

I got my hair dyed back to my natural color on Friday. I forgot how dark my hair was...

And there is a family reunion this weekend. We don't talk to her side of the family. I haven't seen them since I was about 11. I don't remember anyone. They're mean to her. They abandonded her. Recently one of her aunts died. My Mom got more money from an insurance policy than her siblings did. People are pissed. And they're the kind of people to say something. And my Mom's not the kind of person to take it well. I don't even consider those people family. Well, except Uncle Louie.

Andrew and I saw the Psycho DeVilles on Saturday night. They played with The Atomic Rockets and The Tremors at the Star Bar in Little 5. If anyone that reads this ever goes to Atlanta, I suggest going to Little 5 Points. Especially if you like vintage. Or thrifting.

Anyway, I leave you with this.

hank 3.

So Hank III was awesome. I saw him in Athens a few years ago at the 40 Watt, and he was good, but he was too fucked up to really care what he was doing. This time he was at the Masquerade in Atlanta. He played a much longer show, and was not snorting cocaine on stage. I got a video of him doing the Grand Ole Opry, and I'm excited about that. Other than that he did all my favorites, and then some, and I left happy. We did not stick around for Assjack.

I wish I'd thought to take pictures of some of the people there. I love to people watch, and the Masquerade is the perfect place to do that, seeing how the people that go there are not really your run-of-the-mill people.  Some people looked pretty bad, but some of those rockabilly chicks looked awesome.
