fireworks.

Haven't been on in a bit. Hope everyone had a good 4th. I did, blowing stuff up with the boyfriend and friends. We went to SC real quick to get the fireworks. Frank and Julie went with us. To see Andrew and Frank talk about what fireworks to get you would have thought they were talking about what new car to buy. They ended up getting about $500 worth of fireworks. Then we grilled and ate and set them off.

So anyway... On to other things.

My friend Sonya gave me this dress.

It's from the 50s.

The fabric is velvety on the deep pink part.

I love the dress, but pink is not really my color, and it's hard for me to do strapless. It also doesn't quite fit me right. She knew that but said I could make something with it because the fabric is nice. I don't have the heart to cut it up, so if someone wants it and can offer me something good for it then we'll see. I'm not talking about a lot of money or anything, and if we can come to a trade agreement that's fine, too. It's a size 16/L, the bottom of the dress is a little dirty and the zipper is broken.
